By purchasing a ticket for any of our workshops, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms of Use. These terms are subject to change, and any updates will be posted on our website. It is your responsibility to review these terms periodically for any changes.

 

Eligibility and Age Restrictions:

All workshop attendees must fall within the age range of 6 to 9 years. Parents or legal guardians are responsible for ensuring that the child's age falls within this range when booking the tickets.

Workshop Details:

We provide comprehensive information about each workshop on our platform, including dates, times, duration, and descriptions of the activities. While we strive to keep the information accurate and up-to-date, there might be occasional changes or updates. We recommend checking the details before completing your purchase.

 

Ticket Purchase:

By purchasing a ticket for a workshop, you acknowledge that you are the parent or legal guardian of the child attending the workshop, or you have explicit permission from the parent or legal guardian. Tickets are non-transferable and non-refundable, except as required by law.

 

Privacy Policy:

We value your privacy and follow a comprehensive Privacy Policy. We collect and process personal data only through our Privacy Policy, which you should review separately.

 

Safety and Health Considerations:

The safety and well-being of the children attending our workshops are of utmost importance. We take reasonable precautions to ensure a safe environment and conduct age-appropriate activities. However, parents and guardians are responsible for providing any relevant health information about the child, including allergies or medical conditions that may require special attention during the workshop.

 

Liability and Waiver:

While we take every precaution to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience.

Supervision and Behavior:

Parents and guardians are responsible for ensuring that the child is supervised during the workshop, especially during breaks or when activities are conducted remotely. Children are expected to behave respectfully and appropriately towards instructors, other attendees, and any provided materials.

 

Workshop Cancellations or Changes:

If a workshop is canceled or rescheduled, we will make reasonable efforts to inform ticket holders promptly. In case of cancellation, ticket holders will receive a refund according to our refund policies.

 

Attendee's Privacy, and Media Release:

During the workshops, photographs, audio, or video recordings may be taken without the use of names and information about children for promotional purposes. By attending the workshop, parents, and guardians grant permission for their child's likeness to be used in promotional materials related to the workshop unless expressly communicated otherwise.

 

Ownership of Materials and Content and refund policies:

Permissible Use:

All rights, including but not limited to intellectual property rights, in any materials, content, presentations, logo, illustrations, handouts, and other workshop-related information (Materials and products) provided by the “Host” / “we” / “us” (Cato stories) during the workshops and online shall be and remain the exclusive property of the Host/“Cato’ stories”/“Cato Stories”.

Non-Sale and Non-Reuse of Materials:

Participants attending the workshop (Participants/ customers) agree not to sell, distribute, reproduce, publish, display, perform, modify, or create derivative works of the Materials, in whole or in part, in any format, without obtaining prior written permission from the Host.

 

Legal Permission Requirement:

Any use of the Materials beyond the scope allowed by these terms and conditions requires express written permission from the Host. Participants must request permission from the Host in writing, detailing the intended use and format of the Materials and Products.

 

Enforcement:

The Host reserves the right to take appropriate legal action against any person or entity found to violate these terms and conditions, seeking damages, injunctive relief, and any other available remedies.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction:

These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed by the laws of the country of the business/ we/ host. Any dispute arising under or in connection with these terms and conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in (“the country of the business/ we/ host”) in Belgium. 

Cancellation Policy:

Thank you for choosing Cato Stories for your online or offline product purchase/workshop registration. We are committed to providing you with high-quality products and services. Due to the costs associated with renting a place and purchasing materials, we have implemented a no refunds for cancellations policy. By making a purchase or registering for our workshop, you agree to the following terms:

Exceptions:

In extraordinary circumstances, such as a serious medical emergency or natural disaster, we may consider offering a credit, rescheduling option, or refund. Non-refundable deposits: 

Workshops might require participants to pay a non-refundable deposit upon registration. This means the deposit amount will not be refunded even if the participant and the host cancel their attendance or the event in emergency cases.

 

Refund Policy: 

The refund policy determines how refunds will be processed for participants who cancel their workshop registration. Key elements of a refund policy include:

 

The workshops may have a strict policy of providing no refunds for cancellations made less than 14 days before the workshop.

Partial refund: If the cancellation occurs after the stated deadline, the workshop organizer may offer a partial refund -35%, deducting any applicable cancellation fees.

Changes or Cancellations by the Host / we:

  • In the unlikely event that we need to cancel a workshop or a purchase, participants will be notified as soon as possible.

  • We reserve the right to make changes to workshop dates, times, locations, or instructors. In such cases, participants will be informed promptly.

 

Transfer Policy: 

Workshop registrations are transferable to other individuals or future workshops. Participants are allowed to transfer their registration to another person if they cannot attend.

In this case, the participants contact our customer support team with complete information about the participants and the date of the workshop.

Force Majeure: 

Certain unforeseen circumstances, such as natural disasters, strikes, or other uncontrollable events, may lead to the cancellation of a workshop. In such cases, organizers may not be obligated to provide refunds or may offer alternative arrangements.

 

Refund Processing Time:

The time it takes to process a refund can vary depending on the organizer's policies and the payment method used during registration.

Remember, the specific terms and conditions for a workshop will be outlined by the organizer at the time of registration. Always read and understand these terms before making any payment or commitment to attend a workshop.
